Lisa Loeb

Presented by Strathmore at AMP by Strathmore

Lisa Loeb started her musical career, complete with cat-eye specs, in 1994 with the platinum selling hit song, “Stay (I Missed You)” from the film Reality Bites. A truly independent artist, with “Stay” Loeb became the first pop musician to have a Number 1 single without a recording contract. Her subsequent career has not betrayed this early promise, with gold-selling albums, a Grammy nomination, and successful forays into acting and voice-over work. Twenty years later, her creative zeal and talent has not diminished. The chugging guitars and anthemic choruses of her latest album, No Fairy Tale, evoke the pop-rock hits of the ’90s while still showcasing Loeb’s unique wit and pop sensibilities.
