Channeling his world travels from his fingers to the keys, Nussa’s music is elegant, familiar, and fresh. Equally inspired by places like American, Africa, and his native Cuba, Nussa distills the musical feelings of the world into understated and brilliant jazz. His music sways and grooves with a clarity of purpose and execution that is undeniable. Nussa’s debut album, 2016’s El Viaje, reached No. 1 on the iTunes jazz chart and No. 2 on the Amazon Jazz chart.
Nussa is joined by Gaston Joya, one of Cuba’s brightest musical stars. Joya made his name playing with legendary pianist Chucho Valdés and has toured with Buena Vista Social Club vocalist Omara Portuondo. Ruy López-Nussa rounds out the trio on drums.

The best way to enter the garage is by making a right turn directly into the garage from westbound Old Georgetown Road (between Grand Park Avenue and Executive Blvd). Follow the signs to the AMP elevator and go directly to level 4. The new Trade Street Garage is located at 11860 Trade Street, North Bethesda, MD 20852, right across from AMP and adjacent to the Per Sei apartments. Both are very convenient to the venue.
