The Gallery shows the work of 28 advanced potters and instructors at Glen Echo Pottery. All pieces are for sale and represent a variety of forms, glaze treatments, and firing effects. Most pieces are functional, such as mugs, bowls, vases, etc. Decorative works include raku, jewelry, and holiday ornaments.

Glen Echo Pottery Gallery is extending its holiday shopping hours, opening on Black Friday, November 23 and Friday, December 21 from noon to 5 p.m., in addition to Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.  The Gallery will also be open until 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 8 during Glen Echo Park's Winter's Eve.

The Gallery will close for the season on December 29. The Gallery will also be closed December 1 and 2 for the annual Glen Echo Potters Holiday Sale at GW University's Mt. Vernon campus. Holiday Sale hours are November 30 from 4-8 p.m., December 1 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and December 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sale features the work of 60 local potters and will present more than 4,000 unique pots of all kinds.
