Hailed by The New Yorker as “one of the most imaginative tap choreographers working today,” MacArthur Fellow Michelle Dorrance and her company of virtuosic tap dance artists and musicians return with another spellbinding performance. ETM: Double Down presents a fascinating intersection of dance and technology. With flourishes of Afro-Brazilian music mixed with indie pop, this wildly eclectic show is the product of Dorrance’s collaboration with musician and STOMP cast member Nicholas Van Young. Featuring breathtaking solos, duets, and ensemble choreography, ETM: Double Down incorporates live music and Young’s award-winning electronic tap dance instruments in a surprising, innovative evening of dance and music.
