A beginner swing dance lesson followed by dancing to live music by Swing Shift Big Band.
The Glen Echo Park Partnership presents a swing dance with live music in the historic Spanish Ballroom. We are pleased to welcome Swing Shift Big Band for their Glen Echo debut!
Since 1994, Swing Shift has been rocking the Washington DC metro area and beyond. Swing Shift has appeared at the Corcoran Art Gallery, the Kennedy Center, the Washington Hilton, and Blues Alley, Washington D.C.'s premiere jazz club.
Admission includes a beginner swing dance lesson with Dabe and Janelle Murphy from 8 - 9 pm, followed by dancing from 9 pm - midnight. Beginners are welcome and no partner is necessary.
$20 general admission / $15 students
