Kevin McCaffrey spent years writing monologues for The Late Show with David Letterman and warming up Letterman’s studio audience. With a writerly sense of rhythm to his jokes and a penchant for deadpan humor, the New York-based comedian makes his audiences think as much as they laugh. McCaffrey’s distinct brand of comedy has seen him go from the writer’s room of the Late Show to appearances on VH1’s I Love the 2000s, History Channel’s I Love the 1880s, and weekly appearances on truTV Presents: World’s Dumbest, in addition to a network standup debut on The Late Show with David Letterman.
Comedian Robert Dean opens the show. Named a “comic to watch” by Comedy Central, Dean has appeared on Gotham Comedy Live.
