The Glen Echo Park Partnership and the National Capital Art Glass Guild are pleased to present Wild Things. These are turbulent times! Simply put, we are surrounded by change. This inspired the search for art glass evoking the mythical, wildness in nature, the ocean, and the cosmos. The show is juried by a distinguished panel, including Laurie Brown, glass artist; Manny Flecker, ceramics instructor; Sherry Hawkins, glass artist and painter; and Sonya Kitchens, Director of the Montpelier Arts Center. Join artists at the Artists’ Reception and vote on the People’s Choice Award with a gift of $200 to the winning artist. Artist Talks will be presented as part of Carousel Day, April 28.
