Escape to the islands this Spring by attending Halau Nohona Hawaii’s annual hula recital! Hawaiian chant and music will also be featured.
The literal meaning of the Hawaiian word "ho`ike" is to show or display. Hula is not only a dance; it is part of the Hawaiian heritage. Therefore, dancing is a way to honor our ancestors.
This year, we have invited other groups in the Washington Metro area to perform with us.
This is a family-friendly event, so bring your children and your grandparents. Food trucks and vendors will also be available.
Adult tickets are $15; $20 at the door.
Children (ages 6-11), Students, Military, and Seniors (65+) $10
Children 5 and under are free.
