While it started as a simple pun, “May the Fourth Be With You!” has become an intergalactic movement. Celebrate Star Wars Day, and the whole weekend, with an unforgettable lineup of entertainment for fans of all ages.
MAY 4 “The Last Jedi ” Film & Brew Party with comedian Danny Rouhier of 106.7 The Fan & Costume Contest Doors open at 6 p.m. Film at 7 p.m. $20 Advance/$25 at the Door
Come in costume to enjoy a brewski at the “Creature Cantina” and try your hand at Star Wars trivia. At 7 p.m., it’s time for the costume contest, giveaways and a pre-movie discussion saga with Danny Rouhier. Advance ticket sales end 2 hours prior to doors opening. Must be 21 to purchase alcohol.
MAY 5 Star Wars in Concert with Symphony Orchestra of Northern Virginia 4 p.m. $15 Advance/$20 at the Door/$12 Youth 14 & Under. Experience the iconic music of the Star Wars saga in this family concert. Led by Maestro Jeffrey Dokken, the Symphony Orchestra of Northern Virginia (SONOVA) brings John Williams’ instantly-recognizable music to life. Advance ticket sales end 2 hours prior to performance. For ages 5 & up.

Star Wars Projects in Clay 12:30 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. • (R) $29/(N) $33 per person. Parents and children will spend quality time together learning to sculpt characters from across the galaxy. Ages 6 & up. Parent must accompany children under 12. All supplies provided. Parent and child must each register. Each registrant receives free admission to Lego Star Wars movie.
Create Your Own Jawa (STEM) 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. • (R) $12/(N) $14 per person Parents and children will learn about Jawa – a species of humanoids native to a galaxy far, far away. Each participant will make a glowing, DIY Jawa out of LEDs and recycled materials to take home. Ages 6 – 8. A supply fee of $8 is due to the instructor. Each registrant receives free admission to Lego Star Wars movie.
LEGO Star Wars – The Freemaker Adventures 2 p.m. • $5 per person (Free Admission with Ticket to a Star Wars Workshop) Before or after a workshop, come in costume and enjoy a movie in the theatre. In this 30-minute film, a family of scavengers connects to the Force through an ancient artifact and battles the empire to restore freedom to the galaxy. After the show, enter to win prizes and join us for a costume parade. Ages 7+.
Technology of Intergalactic Combat (STEM) 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. • (R) $15/(N) $18 per person Youth ages 9 – 11 will explore electricity and make a mini lightsaber to take home. Working with partners, youth will complete electrical circuits that make a model Death Star light up and activate. A supply fee of $10 is due to the instructor. Each registrant receives free admission to Lego Star Wars movie.
