Join the Mycological Association of Washington at the Museum for this program to identify, learn about, and taste locally grown wild and exotic mushrooms.
The Mycological Association of Washington, DC (MAW) will be at the museum to host their semi-annual wild mushroom tasting. Members of MAW will cook onsite and provide tastings of edible wild and exotic mushrooms that were foraged in nearby woods.
You must be a member of MAW to participate in this event but anyone is welcome to become a member.
MAW is a nonprofit club of amateur and professional mycologists. They study, forage, and cook wild mushrooms, and educate the public about finding and identifying fungi.
