Develop your comedy writing toolkit while defining your voice and exploring comedic styles. This summer's topic is Sketch Comedy Writing. Learn the fundamental elements needed to write your own comedy sketch like those seen on SNL and late night talk shows. Working with the instructor and collaborating with your fellow students, we will develop your comedy premise, character, and dialogue. By the end of the course you will have a funny comedy sketch we will perform in a live reading.
