Drinks on the Veranda

Presented by Button Farm Living History Center at Button Farm Living History Center

Join us on Saturday, June 9th from 5PM to 7PM at the Button Farm Living History Center to toast the start of summer at our first annual Drinks on the Veranda event. Sample 19th & 20th century Southern libations and culinary delights on this intoxicating tour of our living history center. Relax on the veranda, stroll the garden grounds, and mix and mingle with food and history lovers. Our menu will be paired with historical demonstrations and reenactments, music and merriment.

Chef Brian Patterson, head chef at Glenstone Museum, and formerly of L’Academie De Cuisine, will be onsite preparing a signature dish, alongside appetizers pulled from the pages of the forthcoming Bread and Beauty Cookbook, featuring recipes from farms in Montgomery County’s Agricultural Reserve. Funds raised will help support programs and the ongoing restoration of our 19th century farm.
