Skywatching: Mars

Skywatching: Mars

Presented by Gaithersburg Community Museum at Observatory Park

Explore Mars with a Talk by NASA Solar System Ambassador Ted Avraham and hands-on activities. Then we’ll take a look at it through the Observatory's telescopes.

**This program is weather permitting so please check the facebook page before arriving for last minute announcements**

SOME SPECIFICS: The park will be dark, but please don’t bring a bright flashlight; you can bring a red light because it will be less intrusive to watchers. Also, adjust the brightness on any electronic devices. No running water available in the park. Parking: at the St, Martin’s lot on the corner of Rt 355 and DeSellum Avenue. 2 block walk to Observatory. Accessible parking available at Observatory Park.
