This jazz guitar pioneer and 20-time Grammy-winner is known worldwide for his phenomenal improvisational performances. His trademark style reinvented the way a new generation of musicians played the guitar, and Metheny continually embraces new technology to evolve his sounds, even helping to develop new kinds of guitars along the way. His mastery extends beyond the guitar, making it look easy to play nearly any instrument the first time he picks it up.
