This June 23-24, experience the New Orchestra of Washington’s inaugural summer festival with two great concerts!
The beautifully restored rustic barn at the Aix la Chapelle Farm in Poolesville is the perfect place to enjoy two afternoons' worth of classical favorites from Copland and Beethoven, as part of the New Orchestra of Washington's summer festival and retreat. The Faculty Concert features a program inspired by nature, with pieces by Adams, Holst and Copland'sĀ Appalachian Spring, while the Side by Side concert offers Beethoven's powerful 7th Symphony, performed by NOW musicians and retreat participants, under the baton of Artistic Director Alejandro Hernandez-Valdez. Bring the whole family for this joyous concert and meet some of Aix la Chapelle's many furry residents of chickens, goats, sheep and even mini donkeys. A catered dinner with beer, wine and water is included for both shows.
June 23: $65 per ticket (includes catered meal with beer/wine)
June 24: $35 per ticketĀ (includes catered meal with beer/wine)
