Saturday - Resident Artists Open House (11:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

Sandy Spring Museum is home to eleven artists who work in a variety of mediums, teach classes and create wonderful works of original art.  Stop by on the first Saturday of any month to meet the artists, see them at work, learn about their craft or purchase a one-of-a-kind gift for yourself or a friend.

Saturday - Pop-Up Coffee Shop (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

This month’s pop-up coffee shop features Café Latte’da, located in the heart of Baltimore’s historic Fells Point.

Sunday - The WONDEROOM! (12:00 PM - 4:00 PM)

Enjoy the WONDEROOM! Experience a space that is designed to inspire creativity and wonder in kids of all ages.  Spend time in this special room devoted to providing experiential, hands-on activities that inspire creativity through design-based problem-solving challenges.  Activities encourage parent-child cooperation and collaboration.

This month's challenge: Using only objects found in nature, can you create a work of art?  The challenge here is not just making use of found objects but it’s also being able to let go of your art because it will gradually decay as nature takes its course.
