Thurgood Marshall visits Montgomery County with Maryland Humanities’ living history program!
Maryland Humanities brings Thurgood Marshall back to life through its program, Chautauqua: Seeking Justice. Chautauqua celebrates its 24th season this summer. Actor Brian Anthony Wilson will perform an excerpt from the George Stevens, Jr. play, Thurgood. The performance will be followed by a dialogue with Dr. Lenneal Henderson. Henderson, an internationally recognized scholar, brought Marshall to life in the 2010 Maryland Humanities Chautauqua tour.
