Spend an evening with Tony award winner Murray Horwitz (1978-‘Ain’t Misbehavin’) as he becomes Sholom Aleichem, the leading Yiddish author, and playwright of the early 20th century.
Set against a musical score and original scenery, Horwitz, in this one man, 90-minute show, will engage the audience with Aleichem’s best-known works, including, “The Great Fair,” “The Tevye Stories,” his last will and testament and more. Horwitz, former director of the AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center, currently hosts WAMU’s “The Big Broadcast.”
