What’s your role? Entering its 16th Season, The Highwood Theatre offers innovative and inclusive after-school productions, classes, private lessons, Tech Crew, and home-schooled programs: there’s something for everyone grades 1-12!
Productions - Open to students grades 2-12 with a desire to learn, collaborate, and meet new people! Home School Classes & Production - Highwood's Home School Shakespeare classes & annual Shakespeare production are open to all interested students in grades 1-7. The only prerequisite is a desire to learn, explore, meet new people, and collaborate! All classes culminate in a final showcase performance for family and friends.
Tech Classes - Highwood offers the area's only comprehensive technical theatre education program, offering students collaborative and hands-on learning opportunities. Classes include set design, costume design, lighting & sound, and set construction.
Private Lessons - Highwood offers private lessons to anyone who wants improve their acting or singing, or learn a new instrument. Classes are tailored to YOU and what You want to get out of the class.

There is a large public parking garage located two doors down from our Silver Spring office and rehearsal space. Rates in the garage are $0.70/hour. Street parking is also available for $1.00/hour. We do not supply coins for metered parking near our rehearsal space. Please bring plenty of quarters or visit https://mobile-now.us/ to set up a mobile parking account to use in Silver Spring, MD. Parking is free after 7:00 PM and on weekends.
