Twinbrook Library in the morning: Launch of Library of Things: Music.  Kensington Park Library in the afternoon.  FREE!  No registration.

Salsa in the Afternoon      1:00 — 2:00 PM

Get your boogie on!  Maritza Rivera, local dancer and poet, will teach the basic steps of salsa dance.  No experience needed. There will be one half-hour lesson and then open dancing.

Make Your Own Egg Shaker       1:30 - 2:30 PM

Make your own egg shaker to make music!  While supplies last.  For preschool and elementary ages.

Musical Sidewalk  Chalk Art  1:30 - 2:30 PM

Decorate our sidewalks with chalk and draw your favorite musical instruments and symbols.  While supplies last.

Luis Garay at Kensington Park Library  3:00—4:00 PM

Luis Garay is a percussionist who performs Classical, Jazz and Afro-Latin World Music. This high energy duo performance is wonderful and interactive.
