In an engaging lecture, Gallaudet University associate sociology professor Julie Fennell will draw from in-depth interviews and survey data to explain how people draw meaning from CNM in a rapidly evolving world of diverse romantic relationships.
Consensual Non-Monogamy (CNM) refers to unconventional relationships where partners don't object to the inclusion of other sexual or romantic partners. Even in predominantly monogamous cultures like the United States, CNM is growing among young people, raising social implications about the foundation of romantic relationships that are drifting away from their traditional roots.
