F. Scott Fitzgerald Literary Festival

Presented by The F. Scott Fitzgerald Literary Conference, Inc. at Richard Montgomery High School

The 22nd annual F. Scott Fitzgerald Literary Festival will include programs over three days in partnership with The Writer’s Center in Bethesda, MD and the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County, MD.  The award ceremony, a reading and master class by Russo and the announcement of the annual F. Scott Fitzgerald student and adult short story contest winners will be featured festival events on Saturday, October 20.

The festival will also include special guest, Jennifer Finney Boylan, author of the New York Times’ op/ed column “Men & Women”.  Boylan will conduct a workshop for the FSF Scholars and introduce Russo. Fitzgerald granddaughters Eleanor Lanahan and Cecilia Ross, along with great-granddaughter Blake Hazard will address continuing the legacy of a famous family in a panel discussion led by Jackson Bryer. There will be morning & afternoon workshops in fiction and non-fiction taught by notable authors and a screening of the film, Nobody’s Fool adapted from Russo’s 1994 novel. Also on the schedule is a special workshop for FSF Scholars with Mr. Russo and a “Fitzgerald Haunts” bus tour.

Cost for Festival:

$35 for non-members (includes all activities and one workshop)

$25 for additional workshop

$10 for "Fitzgerald Haunts" Tour (optional & limited capacity)

$8 Box Lunch (optional)

Members of the F. Scott Literary Conference Inc. receive a discount on Festival Fees.
