Out Loud & In the Bushes is a joint show featuring Roger Strassman’s colorful abstract paintings and Trinka Roeckelein’s whimsical ceramic animal sculptures.
“Out Loud” alludes to a painting group with whom Strassman previously exhibited in the DC area. “In the Bushes” references the context for Roeckelein’s clay pieces. The exhibit presents Roeckelein’s intimate sculptures of a wide array of animals sprinkled amongst Strassman’s large canvases of bold colors playing back and forth in sweeping rhythms.
Opening Reception: Saturday, October 13, 4 to 6:30pm
This exhibit will be on view in the Stone Tower Gallery at Glen Echo Park.
