Kick off the holiday season with live ice sculpting and holiday performances in Bethesda’s Veterans Park.
Bethesda’s Winter Wonderland ushers in the holiday season from 1-4pm on Saturday, Dec. 1 in Veterans Park, at the corner for Norfolk and Woodmont Avenues in downtown Bethesda. Blocks of ice will be transformed into wintery works of art before your eyes during the live ice sculpting demonstration followed by choral performances from local school groups. Academy of the Holy Cross, Bethesda Chevy Chase High School, Oneness Family School, Our Lady of Lourdes, Washington Episcopal School and Westbrook Elementary School will delight the crowd with holiday music. Additionally, Santa Claus will make a visit to the park and holiday treats and crafts will be provided to children. Bethesda’s Winter Wonderland is a free event.
