Contemporary jazz pianist Marcus Johnson and his Urban Jam Band perform songs from his latest album, Live & Direct, as well as songs from his 15 other releases. A proud graduate of Howard University and a renowned member of DC’s music scene, Johnson is a Billboard-ranked musician, producer, NAACP Image Award nominee, and founder of lifestyle company FLO Brands, LLC (For the Love Of). Amid his many pursuits, music has remained front and center for Johnson, who comes to AMP after a variety of feature performances including the Silver Spring Jazz Festival, Blues Alley, and many more.

There are 2 available parking garages at AMP, including a new one on Trade Street. Valet parking will also be available for a $5 fee. The Old Georgetown Road Garage, located at 11580 Old Georgetown Road, North Bethesda, MD 20852, is directly beneath AMP. The best way to enter the garage is by making a right turn directly into the garage from westbound Old Georgetown Road (between Grand Park Avenue and Executive Blvd). Follow the signs to the AMP elevator and go directly to level 4. The new Trade Street Garage is located at 11860 Trade Street, North Bethesda, MD 20852, right across from AMP and adjacent to the Per Sei apartments. Both are very convenient to the venue.
