InterAct Story Theatre's Season Four of Wheaton Family Theatre Festival continues next Saturday, January 12 at 11 a.m. with a FREE morning of theatre and arts for kids!

Join us at the Wheaton Interim Library next Saturday as InterAct Story Theatre's Wheaton Family Theatre Series shares the joy of stories! In our January and February events, InterAct Story Theatre's Artistic Director Ali Oliver-Krueger leads kids and adults in an interactive Literacy Fiesta, bringing stories to life through creative drama. Join us at the Library and beat the winter blues with us...we'll act, sing, and dance our way through favorite folk tales and chase the chills away! In these interactive workshops, kids and adults work together to explore a folk tale or children's story, act out the stories in our own words, and maybe even make up stories of our own!

This event is completely FREE and open to the public--but registration in advance is strongly recommended!  Workshop space is limited, and the library has set up a registration system so you can reserve your spots at the Literacy Fiesta. Last our Literacy Fiestas were so popular that tickets that we were at capacity and sadly had to turn people away at the door....and we don't want that to happen to you. You can register your family for the Literacy Fiesta in advance by calling the library at (240) 777-0678 or by visiting in person. If you're not able to sign up in advance, please feel free to come on by... free tickets will be available (while they last) up to the program's start time.
