Musical colleagues since 1979 and founding members of the Baltimore Consort, this duo combines the elegant, ethereal sounds of flute and lute in music that spans centuries, from Renaissance to Baroque to Celtic folk melodies. The duo has just released a new recording, Nine Notes that Shook the World, which Rosenfeld describes as “a gathering of some of our favorites, a musical feast…evocative and expressive of the variety and intensity of human feelings… these timeless tunes from past centuries still touch us in ways words cannot…” The duo will perform works by Bach, Purcell, Hotteterre, Ortiz and Dalza.
