Capriccio Baroque presents Colin Booth, the acclaimed English early keyboardist, recording artist, keyboard builder and restorer, and author in his Washington DC debut. Colin performs works by two titans of English 17th century music - William Byrd, a composer of extraordinary ability central in developing the English national style; & Peter Philips, a gifted & prolific composer little-heard in the U.S. Colin will perform on period instruments including harpsichord, muselar and ottavino.
