This course will cover a variety of etching techniques, and offer participants the opportunity to develop longer projects and technical skills in an open studio format. Participants will leave the course knowing five new etching techniques, how to effectively mix etching inks, how to set the pressure on both presses, and how to properly clean up the studio. During the workshop, students will have full-access to the printshop as well as individualized assistance from the instructor with plate development and printing. All levels of experience are welcome.
