“Experience/Learn” is an opportunity to get comfortable with 4-part harmony by taking part in special rehearsals of the Harmony Express Chorus, which specializes in the barbershop style.
Harmony Express offers "Experience/Learn" every spring. For the first time, the program is OPEN TO BOTH WOMEN AND MEN.
These are not one-on-one singing lessons. The Director seats participants with the appropriate section (tenor/lead/baritone/bass) of the chorus, so they learn at their own pace and with the support of veteran singers.
We offer "Experience/Learn" at four consecutive Harmony Express rehearsals: May 19, May 26, June 2, and June 9. Newcomers are welcome to keep coming back after the program ends if they choose. No cost, and certainly no obligation.
We supply sheet music, access to audio learning tracks on our website, and demonstrations of quartet technique applicable not just to barbershop but to any a cappella style. Just bring your voice and your love of ringing chords!
