Joseph Ross is the author of four poetry collections: Raising King (2020) Ache (2017) Gospel of Dust (2013) and Meeting Bone Man (2012). His poems appear in many anthologies and literary journals including Southern Quarterly, Xavier Review, Poet Lore, and Drumvoices Revue. He has received six Pushcart Prize nominations and is the winner of the 2012 Pratt Library / Little Patuxent Review Poetry Prize. He teaches English at Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C. and writes regularly at www.JosephRoss.net.

Kelly Thackston is a poet that explores nature, family struggles, emotional challenges and redemption within her writing. She has been writing poetry since second grade. Her recent poems explore themes of grief and transformation. A technical writer by day and self-proclaimed “folk poet,” Kelly strives to capture and elevate bits of her world with honesty and hope. She also enjoys dancing, photography, and hiking.
