The Gaithersburg Community Museum presents a program of exploration for young visitors which takes place on Wednesday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to noon in July and August. Supplies are limited. Admission is free with no reservations required. Donations to cover program costs are appreciated. Recommended for ages 5 and up.

10-Jul | Bugs | Have fun with bugs. Meet some bugs with Echoes of Nature and then make bug crafts. |
17-Jul | Moon | 50 years ago we first walked on the moon. Have fun with moon activities. A moon storytime will take place at 10:30 and 11:30. |
24-Jul | Money | Let's learn about money! The U.S. Mint, the Montgomery Coin Club, and the Gaithersburg Financial Wellness Coalition will join us and we'll have things for you to make and take. |
31-Jul | Music | Explore musical instruments and make some of your own. Musicians from Victor Litz will join us with hands-on musical activities. |
7-Aug | Magnets | Have fun exploring, experimenting, and playing with magnets. |
14-Aug | Color | Our world is full of color. Have fun experimenting with, playing, with, and learning more about color. |
