The landscape of books and publishing has evolved dramatically over the past two decades. While print is far from dead, electronic publishing continues to evolve. In an engaging lecture, John Warren will explore the history of publishing from the earliest printed books to the advent of the paperback. He will then delve into the evolution of electronic texts, gaming, and transmedia to examine how these technological advances could revolutionize education and other fields. Warren is the director of the Master of Professional Studies in Publishing program at George Washington University.
