Founded in 2002 and renowned for its dynamic interpretations and polished, expansive colors, the group has rapidly distinguished itself as one of the preeminent ensembles of its generation. The Parker Quartet will be joined by members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra (Xin Ding and Sheila Fiekowsky, violins; Daniel Getz, viola; and Oliver Aldort, cello) to perform the glorious Mendelssohn Octet.
