Rockville Brass Band will be holding a 4-hour open rehearsal with brass band director and clinician Gareth Pritchard. This open rehearsal is free and all interested parties are welcomed to attend. We will be hosting lunch on site, so please RSVP at the link provided so that we can get an idea of who will be attending. This event is especially geared towards music teachers and brass musicians and students in the area!

About Gareth Pritchard: Gareth Pritchard has been Musical Advisor and Conductor of the Telemark Wind Orchestra and Telemark Summer School since 1996, and regularly visits Norway as a Guest Conductor. His arrangements and compositions are extensively played in Norway and New Zealand and have also been recorded by Brass and Military Bands in Norway. Since returning to the UK, he has been Professional Conductor for Besses o' th' Barn, Bodmin Town and BTM Bands and also Musical Director for East Yorkshire Motor Services Band. Since 2006, he has been the full time musical director of both Tongwynlais Temperance and Lewis Merthyr Bands. Gareth is in regular demand as an adjudicator at home and abroad and is a member of the Association of Brass Band Adjudicators. About Rockville Brass Band: The Rockville Brass Band is dedicated to preserving the tradition of the British brass band. It was founded in 1976, and over the years has performed for audiences throughout the Washington D.C. metropolitan area and beyond. The band provides a series of concerts throughout the year at various locations in Rockville, MD and nearby towns along with some out of state trips. It performs a wide range of music, from transcriptions of light and orchestral music to serious brass band pieces. They are proud to be the second section North American Brass Band Association champions for both 2017 and 2018.
