Henna “tattoos” are a familiar site today, with henna applied at county fairs, beachside boardwalks, and even retail shops. But quality varies greatly. In this comprehensive workshop, participants will to learn from someone who has taken henna to the form of artistry.
Workshop includes background on the traditional, social, and cultural history of henna, a demonstration on how to make the henna paste from start to finish, how to roll and fill the applicator tubes, how to create an appropriate henna design, and then time to practice on paper and hands and ask questions. Guests will receive a goody bag to take home at the end of the workshop with a henna tube, aftercare tips and a henna design. In addition, all participants will receive a discounted rate when booking a future appointment or workshop with Charming Henna.
Priya is a professionally trained henna artist. Her attention to detail, creativity, & unique designs elevates henna to a work of art. In addition to traditional bridal henna and henna for baby showers, girls night out, etc., Priya also creates henna crowns for patients suffering from alopecia or going through chemotherapy.
