Beethoven and Beyond - Chamber Music Concert 1/12

Presented by Rock Creek Chamber Players at St. Luke's Episcopal Church

We open Beethoven's 250 anniversary year with a stunning program. John Sutherland Earle plays the brilliant Emperor concerto, transcribed for piano and string sextet. After intermission we leap into the 21st century with two short and tuneful works for woodwind quintet, composed by Eric Ewazen and Fazil Say.

String players in the Beethoven are Carolyn Wu, Aaron Panner, Andrew Crane, Irina Desmond, and Michael Rohrer.

Our woodwind quintet features Eric Abalahin, Laurel Kuxhaus, Chris Epinger, Chris Atkins, and Jim McIntyre.
