An Indian Dance Extravaganza Celebrating Holi Festival of Colors
The colorful festival of Holi has an ancient origin and celebrates the triumph of “good” over “bad.” The colorful festival bridges social gaps and renews sweet relationships. On this day, people hug and wish each other “Happy Holi.” Holi celebration begins with lighting up of bonfire on the Holi eve. Numerous legends and stories associated with Holi celebration makes the festival more exuberant and vivid. People celebrate by applying gulal and abeer natural-colored powders on each others’ faces. It’s a unifying festival.
The Kuchipudi Dance Academy will bring the essence of this celebration into a performance with the theme of unity through colors and dance!
