Praised for her “incredible flair, maturity and insight,” violinist Diana Cohen leads a multi-faceted career as a chamber musician, soloist, concertmaster, and arts administrator.

With her husband, pianist Roman Rabinovich, Diana presents a delightful program of the third sonata by Beethoven, the Mendelssohn F major sonata, the Granados sonata, and Road Movies by John Adams.

We are excited to have them join us! A passionate chamber player, Diana has performed at festivals worldwide including Marlboro, Aspen, Piccolo Spoleto, Ravinia, Giverny, and the Perlman Chamber Music Program. She is known to many Washington-area music lovers through her stunning performances and insightful coaching at the Chamber Music Conference of the East. Diana serves as concertmaster of the Calgary Philharmonic and co-artistic director of ChamberFest Cleveland.

Roman Rabinovich tours internationally as a piano soloist and chamber musician. The Washington Post has lauded him as a dynamic musician of the millennial generation. Area audiences have enjoyed his playing on concert series of the Phillips Collection, Washington Performing Arts, and the Embassy Series. Roman has performed at countless venues worldwide including New York's Lincoln Center, Wigmore Hall in London, and the Concertgebouw Amsterdam.

The Rock Creek Chamber Players is an open-ended group of musicians who present a monthly concert series. No tickets required.

LOCATION: St. Lukes Episcopal Church is located where Old Georgetown Road and Grosvenor Lane would meet, if they actually did intersect. The cross street is Cheshire. Ample parking available behind the church.The church is on the J-2 bus line and 1.5 miles from the Grosvenor Metro station.
