Art Talk with Terron Cooper Sorrells
Fri, April 24, 4pm
Sorrells was featured in a solo exhibition, The Railroad, at Strathmore. He uses painting and printmaking to explore the stories of African Americans typically left out of US history textbooks. His imagery drafts narratives that, while fictional, stand for stories untold.

Art Talk with Shana Kohnstamm
Fri, May 8, 4pm
Shana Kohnstamm was featured in the 32nd Biennial Exhibition of the Creative Crafts Council at Strathmore. Her soft sculptures are created using an ancient method of shaping and firming wool called felting.

Art Talk with Lorenzo Cardim
Fri, May 22, 4pm
Lorenzo Cardim was featured in Timber at Strathmore. His work expresses themes of social injustice and how LGBTQ, people of color, and other minority groups question the status quo. His sculptures often incorporate contrasting materials, such as nail polish and stitching on wood, and he also works in video and performance.
