Through techniques used in comics and cartooning, you will be able to use your ideas to build your own characters and story. In this 4-week class taught by comic artist Shelby Kelley, learn how to form your characters and fully develop them with elements of design. Flesh out your characters to dive into your universe!

Materials: An original idea for a character, story, design, or world that you would like to flesh out or focus on, it can be as simple as a name or as complex as a written plot (this is not an idea you have to stick with, but it makes it easier to jump right into the lessons~!)
Sketchbook/Paper
Pencil
colored pencils
Fineliner pens/inking pens (optional)
Favored medium (watercolor, marker, crayons, etc.)
Notebook/lined paper for note taking
