Pick up a pencil and learn to draw in this 4-week workshop designed to teach the fundamentals of drawing. Whether you're a first time artist or you are looking to upgrade your technique, this workshop will teach you the basics needed to create works of art in pencils and ink. Cost includes all materials. Week 1: Still Life -- Learn how to draw from objects in front of you. Explore different techniques such as blending, contour, hatching, and stippling.

Week 2: Figure & Gesture Drawing -- Learn the basic proportions that make up the figure, and take turns doing quick sketches and gesture drawings of each other.

Week 3: Perspective -- Learn about one-point and two-point perspective, and create your own landscape drawings.

Week 4: Squaring Off -- Learn how to create and use a grid on a reference photo to draw your image.
