Born in 1960 in what was then Colombo, Ceylon, Indran Amirthanayagam, has written 19 books of poems and recorded music with Haitian musicians. He has been the recipient of the Paterson Poetry Prize and received artist grants and fellowships from the Foundation for the Contemporary Arts, the New York Foundation for the Arts, the US /Mexico Fund for Culture, and the MacDowell Colony. In Maryland, Indran runs Poetry at the Port, a monthly spoken word series. He also edits the Beltway Poetry Quarterly. His new book is The Migrant States.
Herb Guggenheim’s poetry has been published in a variety of literary magazines and in two book-length collections - Strange Encounter at the Shakespeare Motel (Finishing Line Press) and Sunset at the Hotel Mira Mar (Infinity Publishing). Also a novelist, his Violations of Causality (Ecclesiastes Press) was a finalist in the 2016 Foreword INDIES book of the year competition. His latest novel is The Nothingness Imperative (Ecclesiastes Press). He’s been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and a Best of the Net award. His website is herbguggenheim.wix.com/author-blog.
