National Philharmonic's Virtual Early Childhood Education Program: Shake Rattle & Roll

National Philharmonic's Virtual Early Childhood Education Program: Shake Rattle & Roll

Presented by National Philharmonic at Online/Virtual Space

Each week features a variety of musical fundamentals, including rhythm, pitch, listening, and sing-a-long skills. Children will have fun learning important musical skills and interacting remotely with their peers. No instruments are needed, we will be making our own!

Sessions are taught by Lauren Weaver, cellist, teacher and National Philharmonic’s Orchestra Librarian and Assistant Personnel Manager. Locally Lauren has performed with NatPhil, New Orchestra of Washington, Annapolis Symphony and Maryland Symphony. With over ten years of teaching experience working with students ages 3 to 83 and ranging in level from total beginner to college level music majors Lauren will be sure to unite learning and joy together for your child.

Musical Instrument making instructions and certain lesson materials will be e-mailed prior to the start of class. These will be fun crafting assignments to be completed before lessons.
