This small class is for students ages 11-18 with at least five years previous training in ballet or by permission of the instructor. Students will focus on semi-advanced barre work stressing body alignment, technique, and articulation of feet. Depending on the age of the student and strength of their feet and legs, pointe work will be introduced at the barre. The center practice incorporates adagio, pirouettes, petite and grande allegro, and beginning beaten enchainments. Students will enter the BlackBox Theater directly from the back parking lot. Students will need to complete a COVID-19 Waiver prior to attending each class. Dancers are encouraged to use the restroom prior to attending class.
