Bond in a socially distant class meant to build theater skills through games and activities for rising 6th-9th graders.
Theater Games, Improv and Movement for Teens is a 5-week class for rising 6th through 9th graders. It's a wonderful opportunity for young people to spend time with each other and bond in a socially distant class meant to build theater skills through games and activities. Each class will have a prompt central to the issues young people are experiencing right now and use games and activities to explore that prompt through movement, voice, writing, and improv. This class will be taught by Hannah Ensign, an educator, director, actor, and storyteller based in the Washington DC metro area.
Masks are required to be worn for the duration of class. Students will enter the BlackBox Theater at BlackRock directly from the back parking lot. Students will need to complete a COVID-19 Waiver prior to attending each class.
