Calling all parents, teachers, and non-formal educators – let’s flock together to learn fun and engaging ways to teach kids about the environment from a bird’s eye view.
The Flying WILD education module was created by experts across the nation to supply all types of educators with easy, pre-planned lessons to connect kids to birds. This online workshop will consist of synchronous presentations and collaborative work as well as some asynchronous learning time. The course includes the Flying WILD Resource book which will be available for pick-up at Black Hill Regional Park prior to the class. Books can be mailed if necessary. We will have a lunch break and other breaks during this workshop.
This program is offered as part of Black Hill Nature Program’s month-long Virtual Waterfowl Festival in February.
