Lights! Camera! IMPACT! Video Storytelling for Nonprofits Seminar

Lights! Camera! IMPACT! Video Storytelling for Nonprofits Seminar

Presented by Docs In Progress at Takoma Park Community Center Auditorium

Nonprofit organizations are recognizing the value of visual stories in communicating their mission, growing their membership, and raising critical funding. Whether your nonprofit plans to produce video in-house or hire professionals, you need to know how to ensure your videos can achieve your desired goal. This all-day seminar for nonprofits and community organizations will help you:

* Think about where video fits into your larger context of communications strategies;
* Identify your call to action and the audience you are trying to reach;
* Identify ways to finance and budget for video production;
* Understand the benefits of incorporating documentary-style storytelling into video communications;
* Think about ways to partner with filmmakers who are working on projects on topics related to your mission.

Registration includes the seminar, coffee, and a boxed lunch.

This program is made possible through support from the Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County, the Takoma Foundation, the City of Takoma Park, Martha Dodge Media, and Stone Soup Films.
