Remake Learning Days Across America is a learning festival that celebrates the many learning opportunities in a community.
Remake Learning Days Across America (RLDAA) is a learning festival that celebrates the many learning opportunities in a community! This celebration, which is happening across the country in 17 different regions, highlights innovative experiences and opportunities for youth to develop their sense of creativity, perseverance and curiosity.
Across DC, Maryland and Virginia, a wide range of organizations — such as schools, libraries, nonprofits, businesses and other community centers — are coming together to provide our youth and families with high-quality learning experiences. These events are designed to be hands-on, relevant and engaging educational experiences for youth and their families and caregivers. The majority of events are free and open to learners of all ages.
DMV Festival Goals:
Showcase how our region is leading the way to “remake” education to fit the needs of 21st-century learners;
Demonstrate the value of creative, hands-on learning and make families aware of where to find these opportunities year-round;
Generate support for relevant, engaging, and equitable learning in schools and other educational spaces;
Support access to innovative learning opportunities reaching diverse audiences and under-resourced communities
The Remake Learning Days-DMV Festival is led by the Professional Development Collaborative at Washington International School and the KID Museum. We are proud to be a part of the national conversation on how to push youth education into the future!
