Takoma Park Street Festival

Presented by Old Takoma Business Association/ Main Street Takoma at Carroll Avenue

We are thrilled to announce that the 40th annual Takoma Park Street Festival will be back live and in full swing on Sunday, October 3rd, 2021 from 10 am to 5 pm, rain or shine!

We’ve missed you and can’t wait to welcome our vendors and visitors this fall. The festival will follow the most up-to-date State and County protocols relating to Covid-19 and large outdoor events, so check back frequently for updates. We’re all in this together, so please get vaccinated and don’t come if you aren’t feeling well.

The festival will once again showcase original artwork, prints, ceramics, silk-screening, bath and body care, jewelry, woodworking, textiles, leather goods and more, plus food for days, and 18 local bands will perform on three stages throughout the event. Come out and support your favorite local businesses, bands, artists and community groups as we celebrate 40 years of the festival.

FESTIVAL COVID SAFETY PROTOCOLS
We are making changes to the festival this year for the safety of our vendors and visitors.

Vendor booths will only placed along one side of the street and they will be spread out further along Carroll Avenue – from Eastern Avenue, NW to Philadelphia Avenue. This will allow festival attendees more space as they visit vendor booths. There will also be a perimeter around each stage so that there is more distance between musicians and visitors.

We are also strongly encouraging everyone in attendance (vendors, visitors, musicians, volunteers) to be vaccinated and are also encouraging mask wearing while at the festival. Even though the event is outside, the space within the vendor booths is limited.

Please don’t come if you aren’t feeling well; there’s always next year! The festival will continue to follow the most up-to-date guidelines from the State and County, so check back here for updates.
